Groundwork offers an opportunity for well-being with horses including former racehorses. Set in 1,000 acres of peace and quiet in County Fermanagh, they offer a calm, private and horse-forward professional equine environment for people to focus solely on their mental and physical well-being, whilst nurturing care, trust and partnerships with some very special horses.
At Groundwork, their specially selected horses and professionally trained facilitators help to build confidence and self-esteem, can help with anxiety and depression, loneliness or post-traumatic stress, as well help with friendship building and acceptance.

Award-winning Equine Therapist
4+ years with Racing to Relate international equine charity for Thoroughbreds in EAS
8+ years as an equine journalist with The Irish Field – responsible for the first dedicated Thoroughbred aftercare page in its history
3 years equine journalist with the Irish Farmers Journal and Horse and Hound, and pro bono editor of Concordia magazine
4 years working at stud UK and France
11 years working as a community arts facilitator specifically in communities with active paramilitary activity in NI
16+ years of horse ownership (9 own horses)
