Co-led by Louise Moorhead and Michaela O’Hagan, Equine Enrichment CIC specialises in Equine-Assisted Therapy and Learning. Together, Louise and Michaela bring over 20 years of combined experience in trauma-sensitive mental health care, equine-assisted practices, and educational programme development, offering transformative services to clients of all ages and neurotypes.
As a seasoned Equine Assisted Psychotherapist and Director of Equine Enrichment CIC, Louise integrates evidence-based psychological techniques with equine-assisted therapy to create safe, compassionate spaces for healing and growth. Being a Trauma and Mental Health Practitioner, Michaela brings a unique focus on social-emotional learning and trauma-sensitive training. Together, they lead Equine Enrichment CIC with a shared commitment to empowering individuals through equine-assisted therapy and learning. Their complementary skills ensure a holistic approach, combining Louise’s therapeutic expertise with Michaela’s focus on structured trauma pathways and professional training.

10+ years offering equine-assisted therapeutic programmes
Trained 250+ professionals in trauma-informed practices and recently developed the Trauma Pathway for Learning with OCN NI.
