Integrating Equine Assisted Services into AHP Practice
The November One Equine Trust webinar took place on Thursday November 6th at 7pm.
This session was focused on an AHP-led project, providing high-quality Equine Assisted Services to HSC Trust clients. The project features a dedicated AHP support team, trained through CAFRE, ensuring that all sessions are delivered safely and effectively. It is funded by the Department of Health, highlighting the engagement and support of the civil service, and is being rolled out with backing from the HSC Trust.
We were joined by:
- Experienced EAS practitioner and Occupational Therapist with the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, Eveline Milne
- CAFRE lecturer, Rachel Annan
Attendees were given insight into the planning, training, and implementation processes that make this initiative an excellent example of cross-sector collaboration, best practice, and innovation in HSC Trust client care.
