Shared Journeys in EAL Collaboration and Community with Beverly Craig
Exploring collaboration, growth, and real-world experiences in Equine Assisted Learning
On Wednesday, 4th March, we were delighted to host an insightful webinar with Beverly Craig, Equine Assisted Learning practitioner and founder of Horse Powered Holistics. Beverly shared how collaborative work with community organisations and multidisciplinary teams can extend the impact of EAL beyond individuals to support whole families.
She discussed her experiences with groups such as Healthy Living Centres in Belfast and initiatives with Parentline NI, highlighting how partnership-led approaches can broaden reach and effectiveness.
During the webinar, Beverly spoke about:
- How her EAL practice has developed through collaborative projects
- Working effectively within multidisciplinary team (MDT) environments
- Building meaningful partnerships and community-based initiatives
- Upcoming projects designed to support both parents and children
The session concluded with a Q&A, allowing attendees to ask questions and share insights with others in the EAL community.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to such an engaging and reflective conversation.
