Addressing the Current Needs in NI with Equine Assisted Learning
The September One Equine Trust webinar was held on Wednesday September 11th at 7pm.
This webinar focused on the current need in Northern Ireland and how Equine Assisted Learning can help to reduce the growing need, and improve the lives of those in NI. We were joined be the practitioners below as we learnt about each of their backgrounds, particularly what drew them to the field of EAL, and the beneficial services they offer.
– Dianne Jones of Clady Water Farm Equine Learning Centre
– Amy Robinson of Journey NI
– Anne Brown of Learning in Harmony with Donkeys
They provided insight into some of the prevalent needs specific to NI that they come across in daily practice, and how the needs have driven these practitioners to enhance and develop their EAL practices to be able to manage the increasing demand. We also discussed the potential solutions and how we can address this need moving forward.
